Decepticons vs Panthers
After a tough loss in week 1, the Decepticons lived up to their names and showed no mercy as they went on to rout the Bandits 56-0. Their new members, Bobby Bonett and Jobin were huge as Bobby had 3 TD’s and Jobin was operating a no fly zone as he has 2 INT’s and 1 pick 6.
Panthers played a very tight game with PSR this past week but unfortunately were unable to pull it out this week. The savvy and reliable Razi was thrown off his game by PSR’s defense as he threw some costly interceptions which put his team in a hole, but almost lead the comeback from two scores down but just ran out of time.
It appears the week 1 loss by the Decepticons might be bad news for the league as they came out with a vengeance and it seems all the talent they amassed is finally starting to gel. You would think this should be a walk in the park, but the Panthers are a resilient bunch who won’t be rattled if they go down early. Razi doesn’t have the greatest arm in the world, but he will have to use his eyes effectively otherwise Jobin and company will have a field day intercepting passes. Could the Decepitcons be overlooking this matchup as they have Stop N Go next week?

Empire vs Warriors
Empire coming off a tough week 1 loss vs Panthers were looking to get into the win column. They played a very close game with the Savages that went down to the wire. Empire’s defense, which was their Achilles heel last year has been good this season was able to hold the explosive Savages to only 14 points on the day, although their offense did sputter in the 2nd half, but even with out some of their playmakers on offense, Chris has been doing a great job as Mathew Mathew and Pervez have been doing a good job on offense.
Warriors after a great week 1 win vs Decepticons kept their momentum going as they played suffocating defense as they only allowed 7 points on the day. Aldo and company went to work on the offense side getting plenty of 1st downs, Khurram chipped in 1 TD and new comer Richard scored 2 more TD’s to give him 7 on this young season.
At this point both teams defenses are ahead of their offenses. Will this be the week each team breaks out? Flag football comes down to QB play as both teams has comparable athletes in this matchup. Will the gun-slinging ways of Aldo help the Warriors defeat the West Coast approach of Chris and Empire’s offense?

Bengals vs PSR
Bengals after lighting up the scoreboard in week 1 got a rude awakening in week 2 as they faced the defending champions, but held their own. The brilliant QB play of Abir in week 1 fell off as he threw 2 INT’s and Jason took over at QB to allow Abir to be a playmaker on the outside. Their defense was much improved as they held a potent Stop N Go offense to only 20 points. They did end up losing the game, but the experience may be worth the loss
PSR came into the season scrambling to get enough players for a team, and now they sit at 1-1. They easily could be 0-2 or 2-0 as they only lost to Stop n Go by 2 points in week 1 and defeated the Panthers by 6 in week 2. Rishi was a difference maker this past week as he had 2 pick 6’s which gave PSR an early lead and changed momentum and moral of each team.
This is going to be a back and forth game and there definitely will be some big plays between the likes of Abir, Omar, Jason of Bengals and Rishi, Pawan and Michael, and there will be an INT for a TD in this game for sure. Both teams have QB controversy’s, who will start for the Bengals, Abir or Jason? For PSR, Ryan, Pavy or Mike Chu?

Stop N Go vs Savages
Stop N Go only had 7 players show up last week, but it didn’t matter. They are such a deep team that even with Farhan and Talha splitting time at QB they were still able to hang on and stay with a younger Bengals squad and are sitting pretty from the top of the standings at 2-0.
Savages after looking so crisp in week 1, got into a dogfight with Empire as their offense just wasn’t in sync as Empire was able to do a good job to disrupt their rhythm and not give up the big play. Their defense was on point as they were ball hawking as usual, but fell short at the end.
Savages are a loud bunch and there is a lot of camaraderie, which will come with trash talking between the two teams. Should be some good clean fun as Stop N Go will need to make sure they do a good job of tackling as the slippery Hashim and Sajeel can take a short pass to the house on any play. Stop N Go will have a plan to attach the Savages zone, but the Savages play one of the most aggressive and physical zone defenses in the league lead by the reigning defensive POTY in Hashim.

Browns Vs Bandits
If you looked at this matchup during the preseason the team you would think that would be in bigger trouble is the Browns, that’s not the case. The Browns were 2 completely different teams as they were scoring a ton in week 1, only to be held to a lowly TD in week 2 against a good warriors defense. On the bright side their defense was markedly improved as they only allowed 21 points to a pretty high-powered offensive team. So which team will show up this week?
Bandits are officially in trouble. This team looks even worse than they did in season 1 despite not getting their 1st victory till week 5 and was 1-6 at one point. Their QB situation is a mess, and they are really missing Abir and Jawad as their offense is sorely lacking in playmakers and QB play. Most alarming part is their reliable defense crumpled upon the Decepticons onslaught and Sakib, one of the premier defenders in the league was injured.
Burhan is in a tough spot as his team needs him but these hamstring injuries can linger for weeks and a really bad strain could jeopardize his availability going forward. Except them to play hard this week despite what has happened thus far.
Browns are new the league and are looking to get into the win column. Which team will show up, the offensive juggernaut, porous defense, anemic offense or shutdown defensive team? My guess is as good as yours, but nothing helps a defense more than knowing the other team can’t do much damage on the offensive side of the ball. Browns will gut out a close victory at the end of the day.
Browns 26 Bandits 13
