Game of the Week week 3

The Warriors have been red hot so far this season. They look like a team with one collective goal in mind and certainly seem to have all the pieces to take it all this year. Aldo Ortiz, who was the offensive player of the year last season, has thrown the ball well so far, played smart and taken off when necessary. He is cool, calm and collective. The Warriors have made some stellar pick-ups in the off season in Richard Giraldo and Khurram Shazed and Captain Niraj Ghai is no slouch himself. They have solid receivers, possibly the best QB in the league and a chip on their shoulder this year. It will be VERY difficult for anyone to beat these guys this season but like we always say, Any Given Saturday...

This week the Warriors matchup against an Empire team that looks like they're ready to turn the page. Last week, Empire made a great comeback led by QB Chris Mui.  As Empire improves week in and week out this game should be a great test for both squads. Captain Faisal Sheriff has put a very good team together, with KJ, Atif and Dipan having not even stepped onto the field yet.  When those three comeback it may be lights out for the rest of the league. What makes Empire special this year is that they play with a lot of heart and everyone picks each other up even when things re down. This is the formula for a winning season.

The Warriors are 2-0 with wins against the Decepticons and Browns.  The Browns are 0-2 and the Decepticons sole victory came against the 0-2 Bandits.  Empire's win came against a strong Savages squad.  This game should be a showdown between two very solid teams led by two very reliable QBs.
