Game 1: Outlaws (0-2) at Savages (1-1)
Savages are coming off of a heartbreaking OT loss to the Spartans. Outlaws swallowed a tough loss against NGNG after having the lead. Outlaws QB, Jawad, showed he can play the position but this week goes head to head against arguably the best all around QB in Zulf. Game will be close until the last 10 minutes when Savages will pull away. Savages defense is much better than Outlaws and that will be the difference. Prediction: Savages win 27-13
Game 2: Bellerose Wolfpack (1-1) at Stop N Go (1-1)
Both teams come in 1-1 with disappointing losses in week 1 followed by convincing wins in week 2 against opponents they were favoured to beat. One team will head back to disappointment while the other will build on their momentum. Will bubbles play? Will he play QB or will Parvesh hold onto the starting spot given his performance last week? Will Ramy and Suleman show up for Stop N’ Go? Lots of questions on both sides but we know Talha and Parvesh are both coming off good performances and will try to carry that momentum. The defenses here will outshine the offense in a low scoring game. Prediction: Wolfpack win 19-12
Game 3: Slumdogs (1-1) at NGNG (1-1)
Another matchup of 1-1 teams hoping to go 2-1 after week 3. Slumdogs took a humbling defeat at the hands of Empire but played them much better than expected. Jesse, Mike, and Gotham Green will try to build on that moral victory with a real one this time. Khuram will be out the first half but so its imperative the ‘Dogs take an early lead before he joins at halftime. NGNG win this one in a late game come from behind win. Prediction: NGNG win 26-25
Game 4: Bandits(0-2) at Empire (2-0)
Bandits may very well be 2-0 right now but have lost their first two games by slim margins to Believers and Wolfpack. Empire however are riding high after demolishing pre-season favourites Stop N Go in week 1 and out scoring the high octane Slumdogs. Burhan is expected to miss the game and without their starting QB facing arguably the best team in the league, this could be a long day for the Bandits on offense as well as on the defensive side trying to contain Steele Patel for 60 mins of football. Bandits may very well have been 2-0 right now, but they will surely be 0-3 after week 3. Prediction: Empire wins 45-13 Game 5
Game 5: The Believers (1-1) at Spartans (2-0)
This game could be the second laugher in a row to close out week 3, especially since Believers are rumoured to be missing several starters as it is. Even if Captain Anwar of Spartans decides to sit a few starters who are nursing injuries, Believers won’t have the firepower to contend with whomever Anwar has at his offensive disposal. Coming off a week where the Savages zone gave him some trouble, playing against a Believer’s defense that gave up 44 last week too Stop N Go should be a welcomed sight for Anwar. Prediction: Spartans win 39-12
