It was all warriors from the first possession. The Decepts couldn't stop them on defense and couldn't get anything going on Offense due to Moe Begawala's struggles. Simply put, the Warriors dominated the Decepts right from the start.
Warriors came back strong after losing in the SAFL bowl last year. QB Aldo played both ways all day as the Warriors only had 6 players. They jumped out to a 32-6 lead at half time on their way to a rout. New comer Richie Geraldo had a Monster 5 TD day.

The Browns threw an interception on the first drive of the game to Chris DeFlorio who took it back to the house. The first half was full of back and forth scoring with TDs being scored by DeFlorio (3) and Jason Gregory (2). Half ended 31-27 Bengals. In the second half The Bengals D tightened up picking off the browns 3 more times (Abir 2, Gregory 1).
Offensively the Bengals moved the ball up and down the field tacking on another 20 points before the game was ended early. WRs Omar Rahman scored 1 and Michael Cardenas tacked on 2 more TDs. Abir Rahman finished the game 21/31 and threw 7 TDs and 1 INT, he also had 2 INTs defensively. Deflorio also had a big game catching 7 passes 2TDs and 1 INT for a Def TD.
The Browns displayed variety on offense by throwing all over the field to myriad receivers. Ultimately poor tackling did the Browns in as the Bengals took 3 screen passes for long scores.

Stop n Go vs. PSR
Saturday's game between PSR and Stop-and-Go was an aggressive one. Stop-and-Go came out strong with some early TD's but at the end of the half, they found themselves at a one touchdown deficit against PSR, who managed to throw some long balls to Pavan and Joshil with Pavy at the QB position. PSR's defense was definitely present with players, such as Mike and Binny at the safety and Rishi at the corner/middle, but some key errors, both offensively and defensively, cost them the game.
STOP n GO came out strong, getting an early stop and two quick TDs taking a 13-0 lead. The game appeared to be heading towards a blowout. However, PSR put up 4 unanswered TDs scoring 25 straight points to take a 25-13 lead at halftime and securing all momentum.
Stop N Go, though, locked down their defense and began chipping away. Talha scored a rushing TD under 2 min to go followed by an extra point to give Stop n Go the lead. Stop n Go had a defensive stand to close out the game as PSR had some questionable use of time outs at the end.

The game started off very promising for the Panthers who were moving the ball down the field however near the redzone a dropped pass was intercepted by newcomer Parvaiz who took it to midfield. After Empire failed to score both teams stalled on their next few drives which included an endzone pick by Matt who would have taken it back to the house if it were not for a TD saving grab by QB Razi. Empire was stopped at the 7 yard line on 4th down but on the ensuing drive, the Panthers failed to get a first down and punted it away to Empire who closed out the first half with a TD strike from Chris to Faizal and a successful conversion run by Chris.
The Panthers had a failed hailmary attempt that was picked off by Matt and led 7-0 at halftime with the ball to start off the second half. The Panthers defense stiffened in the second half as the secondary had some timely batted balls and a huge interception by Ibrahim near the goal line changed the momentum. A few plays after the pick Razi found Ahmed deep down the right sideline for a 60 yard strike. After a successful conversion the game was tied.
Empire failed to get a first down on their next possession and Panthers wound up taking the lead off a nice catch and run from Razi to Lu. A costly penalty negated the conversion. That lead was short lived as Chris made three straight completions including a nice TD toss to Parvaiz to tie the score. A costly penalty for spiking the ball pushed back the conversion attempt which was unsuccessful. With 3 minutes to go the game was tied.
The Panthers scored quickly on another 60 yard stike on third and long as Razi found David in the Seam down the middle just over the reach of the safety for the lead. After a successful conversion the Panthers had a 7 point lead with 90 seconds to go. Empire got a first down but failed to score thanks to two great defensive plays by Hamza. Ibrahim and David also broke up big plays to preserve the comeback win for the Panthers.
Final score: Panthers 20 Empire 13
The Bandits brought a familiar face back at QB - Burhan Gorgani, who, was coming off an Achilles tear from last year. They lost last years QB Jawaid Sarwar, due to work, but they added some new weapons Like Joe Furman a talented, tall receiver.
Savages started the 2013 season off with a deep TD on their first possession from Zulfiqar to Yash followed by a successful conversion.
Bandits answered back with a TD and conversion of their own. Neither team was able to establish a solid rhythm with the score being 13-7 savages at the half. The second half was a different story as the Savages tightened their defense and limited the Bandits offense.
Burhan hurt his hamstring in this half and had to be replaced at QB. Trying new QB's on thy fly was the undoing of the Bandits this week. Zulfikar was razor sharp in the second half including another TD strike to Yash, who, was the offensive player of the game. Sajeel was the defensive player of the game as his efforts included a pick six to seal the win.
