- Teams made frenzied last minute moves before week 3 roster freeze. We saw new additions made by teams to improve their teams. For example Slumdogs with Jeffrey, Bandits with RP, Savages with Naresh, Stop N Go with Hector, Empire with Irfaan etc.
- Slumdogs really looked like a team on the rise in week 1 but since then looks like a team in disarray. They need to get their act together quickly otherwise some of the lower teams will leapfrog them as NGNG has already done.
- Talking about NGNG they made some solid additions to surround Khuram. Aldo has a pretty good arm. With Khuram, Uzi, Salman, Kelvin etc they have some speed and we all know Speed is King in SAFL.
- Is there a team that is more in chaos than Wolfpack? They have to realize even though they are 1-2, their two losses came by 6 points each to powerhouse teams in Stop N Go and Savages. One or two calls go their way they could've been 3-0. Things need to settle in that camp, otherwise they are in for a looong season.
- Dipan missing last weeks game was a blow to his MVP candidacy. To catch up in the race he will have to finish with a huge push. Chris Mui from the same team is also in the same boat.
- Talking about Empire is there another player with so much energy and enthusiasm as Atif? He was hauling in pass after pass and showed great leadership in defense as well. Job well done.
- Message boards are buzzing about trying to add some new twists in the SAFL. Adding some sort of blitz for defenses to call is a popular idea. Changing the amount of time for QB's is another aspect being discussed. Make your voice heard. No changes are imminent however.
- Welcome to SAFL Irfan. 3 Tds against Outlaws. We see you.
- Teams in the off season should be clamoring over Pankaj Suri of Savages. Guy can start for a number of teams. He is of course backing up for Savages right now but last week showed he can fill in whenever asked to.
- FINALLY we get to see stats for everyone. There are still some issues being worked on but the site is mostly bug free and running. Big shoutout to Rehan for taking care of this. Make sure to check out the tab that says "Regular Season Stats".
- Ali Nobani is proving he is more than just nice hair with 1 offensive TD and an interception.
- Hamza has been mercifully excused from the QB position of Believers. He is very accurate in short throws to intermediate throws. But the longer passes he just does not have the arm for. You have to stretch the field to hit some of the underneath throws.
- Musaib is quietly putting up impressive numbers for Believers. Kid might be a star in any other team. But he is "Believer for life".
- SASL/SABL star Moe Begawala made his debut for SAFL with NGNG. Unfortunately he was unable to do anything noteworthy and was even left out of the starting 6 in crunch time and OT. He obviously just needs time to settle in with the guys.
- David Leon backup QB of Spartans went in for one drive and of course went 3 for 3 and a TD. Spartans just produce QB's out of nowhere don't they.
- Hector from Stop N Go just tossed his name in the ring along with Zulf, Mike, Chris etc for the strongest arm in the league. So Stop N Go now have 3 capable QB's? But who goes in on crunchtime?Sony Singh is mercifully off of Outlaws roster. His 3 picks in first 3 drives of the season will now be never heard of again.
- You know what takes the fun out for fans in SAFL watching the games sometimes? The constant look of disbelief and angry gesturing at officials that they missed this call or that call. PLAY THE GAME FELLAZ. NFL has what? 6 officials? We have 2. They aren't going to see everything. It all evens out in the end.
- Is it just me or does Savages look menacing when the come out on to the field together with those Black jerseys?
- Soooo...who came up with the name Stop N Go? They have already heard endless jokes with that team name. "Stop N Go somewhere else" is Hashim's new motto.
- Weather is looking good tomorrow. Sucks Eisenhower fields were denied to us apparently. Cantiague don't worry. We still love ya. But can we get some paint please?
- Atif is the official SAFL stat keeper for 5 teams. He goes to med school on his off days.
- Harvey awesome job on the Hot Seat bro. Very entertaining fun read man. And you are absolutely right. SAFL Cheerleaders. Leggo.
- Non-SAFL thoughts- Yankees are you serious? A-rod? Tiex? But no seriously 200 mill payroll and they had to rely on Nova, Garcia, Colon and Burnett. Texas vs Phi in finals. Isn't a weird world when Detroit is the new city when it comes to winning with Lions and Tigers?
- Thats all the final thoughts I have. On to Week 4 guys.
