Outlaws vs. Savages

Back and forth game when it should've been an easy win for the Savages playing with 6 players. Savages defense was shorthanded without QB/Safety Zee and WR/CB Asheesh manning the fields as the Outlaws took advantage of some players playing out of position.. QB Pankaj had a superb game tho, completing 17 of 25 passes for 3 touchdowns. Kept the offense cool, calm and collected throughout the game even when Outlaws took the lead before half. Outlaws QB situation is still shaky and their defensive alignment is also not the best when it comes to picking which player to guard. Irfan scored 3 times to beat Outlaws. Yash had a nice game as well. For Outlaws Jawid looks to have the QB position locked up and Jeremy, Ramin looked good on O. Defense still needs help. Final 25-20 Savages.

Stop N Go vs Bellerose Wolfpack

This was expected to be GOTW and it delivered. Stop N Go began the game clicking well on offense and defense. After 2 TD receptions by Shumail, another one by Usman, and 2 timely interceptions by Nabeel sprinkled in, Stop N Go was able to secure a 20-0 lead and looked to turn this into a laughter at halftime.

Niraj and his team were not to be denied however as they began to seize momentum midway through the second half. They eventually scored 14 straight points making the score 20-14 with less than 3 minutes to play. On the ensuing possession, Talha was intercepted in a tipped pass deep in Stop N Go's own territory setting up a short field for Bellerose Wolfpack which they took full advantage of by scoring their 3rd straight TD. The game was tied 20-20 but Wolfpack failed to convert on their 1 point try which would have given them the lead. This gave Stop N Go one last drive for the win. Though Hector had lead some drives for Stop N Go on his first day, the team turned to Talha for the final drive. Stop N Go were stopped on the first two plays and had a 3rd and long. Talha threw a bullet to Kunal at the mid field to convert the 3rd and long. That same duo would connect 2 plays later for a 25 yard TD strike to take the lead with 40 seconds on the clock. The Wolfpack had little time to attempt another comeback and ended up going 3 and out on their last possession to end the game. Final score 26-20 Stop N Go.

Slumdogs vs No Games No Gimmicks

This was game also featured another amazing finish and actually went into overtime. Khuram was suspended for the first half of the game and NGNG's main objective was to keep the game close until their big star laced it up to get on the field. Well it was an ugly 7-0 Slumdogs at the half. You would think it was defensive battle but the halftime results were more because of the many dropped passes both teams had. They bought their cleats and jerseys but left their hands at home it seemed. Slumdogs kept switching QBs as well from Mike to Jesse. It didnt pay off this week either. Once Khuram stepped on the field NGNG seemed like a different team and he had a quick interception and Offensive TD as well. With the score 14-6 Slumdogs, QB Aldo led NGNG to a tying score with Salman at the receiving end and Khuram with the 2 point conversion. Jesse then had a shot to play hero with 3rd and goal and 4th and goal at the 2 yard line but amazingly failed to score and we went to OT. In OT Slumdogs had the ball first and failed to even complete a pass in their possession. NGNG had no such problem as they drove down the field and converted on their possession with Aldo leading the drive calmly. Final score 20-14.

Empire vs Bandits

This game was between Empire (2-0) and Bandits (0-2). In a game where the prediction was 45-13, The Bandits knew the had to come out strong. Back-up QB Victor Santiago came out looking to fill the void with Burhan out due to a suspension, he delivered. They took an early lead at 6-0 with a Marc Flynn TD and established the running game from the beginning. Empire came back and the game became a see-saw battle. After going 3 and out on their first two drives, Empire's offense settled down and got into a groove as they scored on their final 2 possessions of the half. The score going into half time was 12-12. Empire moved down the field via some stellar passes and gaining yards after catch. Empire was able to build a 31-19 lead with under 2 minutes left. The Bandits showed no quit as they scored a late TD and two point conversion to make it a 31-27 game, but with 30 seconds left and only 1 time out, Empire took a knee and the game was over. Bandits showed a lot of courage and heart without Burhan but Empire even without Dipan looked very good. Chris led them to victory and Atif was a reception machine. The POTG goes to Atif who had 8 receptions and 2 TD, as well as 1 tackle, 3 batted balls and an INT. Harvey had 2 interceptions with 1 leading to a TD. Marc Flynn also had 4 receptions, 2 TDs 2 tackles for Bandits. Final score 31-27.

Spartans vs The Believers

The game was predicted to be ablowout and it was that plus more. Spartans cme out firing early and often... Qb anwar made his case for MVP throwing for multiple TDs picking apart a apathetic Believers defense. He threw for 6 total TD. The game was close at one point 13-7 in the begining stages of the game but by halftime it was 33-7. Qb Hamza once again had an barely ok showing but couldn't get his offense into the endzone. The Spartans defense was stingy all day, frustrating the Believer's squad noticeably. QB Anwar gave away to backup QB David and David of course went 4 for 4 and a TD and then in the ensuing possession had a pick 6 to deliver our final score. The refs mercifully put a quick end to this one with well over 6 minutes to go. Believers gotta go back to the drawing board... as the lone bright spots were Musaib on offense and Najmul on defense. Qb Hamza has stepped down and Mir and Razi are expected to step up. Hashim, Jose, Yamin, Sajeel, David, Selvin, Adil all had banner days. Final score 52-13.
