Spartans--

The players GUARANTEE the Spartan nation will be synonymous with the word Champions. Bold claims indeed. But there is nothing wrong with being confident. Judging by its core players and even its supporting players you can tell this is going to be at least an above average squad. The team is captained and lead by Anwar Sadat. He will also be leading this team with his big right arm. So far the scouting have been spotty with his inaccurate throws and lack of composure under pressure. But that is to be expected playing with so many new faces in the squad.

Then we have the anchors of the team led by the athletes such as Jose Martinez, David Leon, Hashim Naveed, Anish Patel, Sajeel Haque etc. Jose Martinez will also double as the defensive coordinator for the Spartans. Soon those names stated above will become household names. Talent is all over this team. When you have players like Moiz Siddiqui, Nick Arora, Naqib Sayah, Yamin Rahman playing supporting roles you know you have a very, very talented team. Nick, Yamin, Moiz, Naqib were sough after free agents this team was able to land surprisingly.

The defense should be solid. The offense? When reached for comment Captain Anwar said “it’s a work in progress. Sometimes it looks great, sometimes just terrible. Football more than any other sport requires great chemistry. It will take time but we are working hard and hoping to get better every week.”

The future is definitely bright for these youngsters. But the question is when will that future become the present?
