Both of these teams entered this season feeling strong about their chances of playing in the SAFL Bowl. The Bandits cruised through last season and entering the playoffs as the #2 seed. They were suddenly upset by the Chargers in one of the most epic playoff games in SAFL history. 

The Decepticons went to work in the off-season and added some high quality depth to give them the jolt they needed. They added the SAFL MVP from last season, Jobin George and rumor has it that they also are bringing back a familiar face to give them a much needed push in the right direction. 

Both teams fell short last week, wayyyy short. Both teams took mercy losses, the Decepts at the hands of the Warriors and the Bandits against the Savages and neither team wants to come out of the gate 0-2. 

The Bandits QB, Burhan Gorgani, sustained a hamstring injury in the game against the Savages. The Bandits quickly regrouped and made some roster changes this week to make room for a new quarterback entering the league. Lets see if he will be effective and help the Bandits move past the Decepticons.

This is a huge game for both teams, and we can expect a great match-up. Decepticons have a lot of new pieces, is this the week they begin to start gelling? The Bandits were missing their star player Nadir Almakay last week, will he be the difference maker that the Bandits sorely need? Find out Saturday morning as they face-off at 9:00am.
