PREDICTIONS- Week 5

Stop N Go vs Warriors

Stop N Go was missing a bunch of key guys last week. It seems like it didn't matter who was out there as they are were just like a machine with interchangeable parts.  Talha played another solid game against a good defense. Stop N Go’s fundamental defense has been on point all season.

Warriors in a key game last week played a hard fought game vs Empire. They totally outplayed them in the first half and played a tight second half as Empire almost completed a come back but were able to get a stop on the last drive. Warriors played well on defense containing a potent offense to only 13 points.

Prediction:
Stop N Go still isn't clicking on all cylinders but they are still winning games despite with some attendance issues. Who is the starting QB? Is it Talha or Hector? It seems like they don’t care because there is no drop off in production. With their consistency on defense its going to be hard for Warriors to push the ball down field  Warriors played some great defense last week and weren't giving up any big plays to Empire. The key to the game will be if Aldo’s arm will be able to stretch the field enough to open up the short game. This is going to be a tight game, but in the end Stop N Go will ekk out another win

Bandits vs Slumdogs

Bandits last week were missing their starting QB and with an unfortunate injury to Burhan had to resort to their third string QB in Victor. Victor did a great job leading them to victory on both sides of the ball. This team is a lot deeper and more talented and they have shown that this year winning in a variety of different ways

Slumdogs are playing angry after a tough loss in week 1. They have been just dominating on both sides of the ball. Mike has been on fire and his receivers are making some plays for him. Their defense has been lights out as Jobin is just a total eraser at the safety position

Prediction:
There is a lot of offensive firepower on the field as well as some great individual defenders. Slumdogs play primarily a zone defense while the Bandits play a tight man coverage. Playing man coverage can be stilfling but tiring as well. In a long game like this, with so much speed on the field, fatigue may be a factor. There are going to be plenty of big plays in the game, and the QB that makes the fewest bad decisions will win the game

Desert Eagles vs Savages

Desert Eagles are certainly playing hard, but its quite difficult to win without a QB. It seems like they need to work more on a gameplan and trying to execute it rather than playing musical chairs at QB.

Savages along with Empire have been the most disappointing teams so far. They have a lot of great pieces to work with but for whatever reason can’t put it together. Again it seems like they haven’t settled on a QB although whoever does play QB has plenty of weapons to work it. There defense looks real good at times, but other times have puzzled looks on their face

Prediction:
Savages are struggling and this is probably what the doctor ordered. They are in danger of not making the playoffs. Savages should be able to get back on track and gain some confidence going forward as their schedule gets easier. Desert Eagles will need to get some short fields as Savages certainly are turnover prone. If the Desert Eagles can get some short fields to work it, they might be able to pull out a win

Savages 34 Desert Eagles 13

Decepticons vs Chargers

After a real bad loss the week prior, the Decepticons rebounded nicely as they took control early and exerted their dominance. They looked crisp on offense as played airtight defense

Chargers are playing well and just fell short last week against a very good team in the Bandits. They are another team that have played multiple QB’s but it seems like it hasn’t effected them too much. They have playmakers on offense as well as defense. They seem to be getting better every week and should be a team others don’t want to play

Prediction:
Decepticons will be missing their starting QB Muhammad who is away. It will be interesting to see who will play QB and how precise their offense will be this week. Their defense shouldn’t miss a beat. Chargers hopefully will have PJ back this week who has the arm to vertically stretch and test out Decepticons defense. Chargers have been in most games and this is the week where they will breakthrough and get a signature win.

 Those Ravens vs Empire

After looking so good in week 1, the season hasn't gone as planned. Their QB play hasn't been great, but it hasn’t been bad either. It just seems like they are a little off. Their defense is very sporadic and their lack of depth is peering its ugly head. There is still time for them to turn it around but it starts now as they must win this game.

Empire was virtually full strength last week and again looked disoriented on offense, but at least their defense showed up as they had many tipped passes and a couple of INT’s. It just seems like they can’t get both their offense and defense to play well in the same game.

Prediction:
Empire’s attendance has been very erratic this whole season and it has taken away from their play on the field. Those Ravens lack of depth is hurting them as they are tiring out at the end of games. This game will be intense as both teams need to win this game if they want to make it to the playoffs. With Empire’s attendance issues this year, depending on who shows up the results an be totally different.
