SEASON:
With a 7-2 record thus far, we can safely say the season has been an enormous success so far. The two losses have come at the expense of Spartans and Outlaws and both by one score each. So heading into stretch run and playoffs we can safely assume they are geared up and ready to go. They have a big game against Stop N Go and finish their season against Slumdogs who they handled easily last time.
BEST CASE SCENARIO:
If Spartans lose both of their games and Empire wins both of theirs, Empire will secure the top seed in the playoffs. That will take a lot of good breaks. They can lock up 2nd seed with 2 wins so they are in control of their destiny.
WORST CASE SCENARIO:
If they lose to Stop N Go this week and Outlaws also win, then Empire will fall to 4th in the standings with one week to go. Outlaws by beating Empire own the head to head tiebreaker in case of a tie heading into playoffs. Empire locks up 2nd seed with a win and Stop N Go and Outlaws loss.
